Senior / Electrical Engineer

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare & Design Single Line Diagrams, Control Schematics and layout of switchboards, MCCs and Distribution Boards/Panels
  • Responsible for Single Line Drawing, Control Schematic drawings
  • Ensure timely completion of design and produce accurate drawings
  • Prepare Material Take-off (MTO) and Manufacturing Data Report (MDR)
  • Review customers’ specifications, drawings and manage customers’ expectations
  • Prepare production shop drawings, bill of materials and as-built documentation
  • Execute projects from proposal stage through final acceptance by Customers
  • Assist shop floor during production and testing of equipment
  • Ensure and reinforce all quality system and work process procedures
  • Attend to Sales enquiry and generate BOM & Drawings to Sales if necessary
  • Assist Sales Team in preparation of Engineering documentation such as single line drawings, general layout arrangement, etc
  • Results and Achievement Oriented
  • Any other duties as and when assigned
Requirements:
  • Degree / Diploma in Electrical Engineering with at least 3 – 4 years of Switchboard/MCCs/DBs experience preferably for Marine, Petrochemical and Oil & Gas Industries
  • Understand and implement industry manufacturing standards (i.e. IEC, ANSI, NEMA, IEEE, ABS, DNV, NETA, etc.)
  • Poficient in Autocad 2005 - 2013
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications – Words, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Must be able to use ETAP software for short circuit calculations, breaker coordination studies, harmonics calculations, etc
  • Understand and apply fundamental electrical theory
  • Good Oral and Written communication skills
  • Good Team work
  • High integrity, commitment and passion for the Switchboards Industries
  • Candidate with more experience maybe considered for Senior position
